Current strategy of cereal breeding

چکیده

Basing on results of long-term research (2015 - 2021), the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev NAAS determined genetic and phenotypic variabilities cereal genotypes (winter wheat triticale, spring barley) for useful economic characteristics, adaptability, grain flour quality indicators. New breeding material was created; it allows expansion new trends in these crops; are focused increasing physiological value final products: bread, cookies, cakes, flakes, etc. cultivars have been bred: Haiok, Metelytsia Kharkivska, Pronia, Mavka IR, Mazurok, Tymofii, Pudik, Yelan, Parnas, Yavir, Shedevr. Grain meets requirements food industries, particular, baking confectionery ones. The passed state registration allowed to be grown at Ukrainian agrarian enterprises.
